Dr. Shanda Green is a visionary community psychologist with a passion for the healing and recovery of African American descendants of enslaved people during the African diaspora and the era of chattel slavery in North America. Dr. Green brings a unique perspective for the need for restorative solutions for the well-being and progress of African American communities. 

Specializing in intergenerational truama Dr. Green provides a wholistic approach towards healing deep-rooted psychological wounds of descedants of enslaved people in the areas of community, family roles, male/female romantic relationships, and issues regarding the construct of the "self".

Drawing from a deep well of lived experience, academic rigor, and community engagement Dr. Green facilitates transformative workshops, keynote presentations, and strategic consultations which center on restored identity, ancestral knowledge, and collective healing.
